The IMAGINE Studio creates camera-based visual shows using our own in-house developed system — built with custom software and self-designed hardware. We put the artist at the center by styling and compositing live camera feeds into a cohesive visual identity, expanding creative possibilities while reducing equipment, latency, and production costs.

About IMAGINE Studio

IMAGINE Studio was founded by Menno Broere and Genes Peters — two live event professionals with 15+ years of experience each, both as technicians and as show operators. And we still are.

The idea came from an observation on the show floor. The broadcast and camera team and the FOH and show team were always working on the same show, but never truly together. And every system forced the same compromise: low latency or creative freedom. You couldn't have both.

We saw an opportunity to change that — and since nothing on the market was built for it, we built it ourselves.

Unique technical features

Low Latency

Latency is never caused by a single device — it’s the result of the entire chain.
IMAGINE takes responsibility across that chain, working with broadcast teams, switchers, and screen providers to remove unnecessary processing. Our server removes two frames of latency, and our workflow eliminates up to five frames end to end.

Control Surfaces

Directors and effects operators need intuitive, tactile controls.
Our control surfaces are fully integrated into our software, allowing custom layouts for each scene. This puts effect controls directly in the hands of directors and camera operators, giving them real-time creative freedom.

Transitions

Forget standard mix and wipe transitions.
Our systems unlock the full power of computer graphics, enabling complex, dynamic transitions that go far beyond the ordinary.

Virtual Source

Take any camera—or combination of cameras—apply scene-specific effects, and route them back as a new source on your feed.
This lets the director switch between cameras with or without effects, giving full creative control in real time.

Multicam Compositions

Show a single camera, or combine all your feeds in any mix or custom composition.

Slow Motion

When feeding 50 or 60fps into our system, footage can be slowed down instantly per camera.
Our control surfaces give both directors and camera operators full real-time control over slow-motion effects.

Protocols

Turn any input into a visual trigger.
Use your lighting desk, audio sources, motion sensors, and more to interact with visuals in real time. Sync camera feeds to lighting cues, link a guitarist’s audio to a glitch effect, or trigger feedback effects from dancers’ movements. Our software combines all inputs with visual effects and compositions for fully dynamic shows.

Flexible by design

Compared to legacy production workflows, IMAGINE works differently. Our system is built to adapt, not to force you into a fixed pipeline.
